Pastoral Ministry
At Covenant House Alaska (CHA), we recognize we must serve our youth's spiritual needs, as well as their physical needs. That's why youth ministry is an integral part of our mission.

Many youth come to us with a great spiritual need – a need they can only describe as feeling "unloved." They also come to us with difficult questions, like "who is God?" "Why does the world hate me?" "What is life all about?" "Why is my life the way it is?" and "Why do you care about me?"

By offering education, guidance, patience, a listening ear and an open door, CHA's Pastoral Ministry Program helps youth fill the spiritual need in their lives. We help youth find answers to their questions in a way that is meaningful and challenging. We help youth explore the concepts of faith and spirituality. And we help them find a way to use their faith as a source of strength in difficult times.
