We are a lean and mighty team, but there are some ways that we can support you. Click to learn how.

• Provide you access to our Host Your Own Fundraiser Tool Kit, if you need or wish to create a secure online fundraising page.
• Provide general content regarding Covenant House Alaska mission and programs.
• Provide an outline of the type of support you could receive from our team, based on the type of fundraiser you are planning.
• Provide our logo for your promotional materials (pending approval).
• Share approved fundraisers’ social media posts if we are appropriately tagged. 

Your fundraising efforts are so appreciated, however, because of finite resources and internal policy, we are not able to support the following:

• Share donor information
• Sell tickets
• Submit for permits, applications, licenses, vendors, or insurance
• Give event planning advice
• Guarantee staff or volunteers
• Confirm whether a youth or alumni will speak or be present at a fundraising event
• Supply prizing or fundraising incentives
• Provide funding or reimbursement for expenses
• Permit the use of cameras or video recordings on-site or of our youth
• Covenant House Alaska spaces are a sanctuary for our young people. We cannot provide tours of the facility at Covenant House Alaska in exchange for a fundraiser

If you use our fundraising platform, any gifts made to that secure platform will automatically receive a donation receipt by email.

Covenant House Alaska will issue donation receipts for any monetary gifts submitted by mail or in person.

To issue a donation receipt, Covenant House Alaska needs the first and last name of the donor as well as their full mailing address.

The funds raised by your event will go toward CHA’s programs and services that provide everything from safe shelter and basic needs to workforce training with on-site housing for youth experiencing homelessness in Alaska.

CHA is happy to direct the funds you raise toward whichever of our programs calls to you the most. If you are undecided, CHA is most grateful for donations that are unrestricted and can be used where they are most needed. If a program you’ve designated is fully funded, the remainder will be directed toward operating expenses that keep our youth warm, fed, and cared for, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
