Tree kits are delivered by November 7
Gifts due back to Covenant House Alaska by December 19

Set up a tree at your business, church, or group with our provided paper ornaments. Each indicates a gift or need from a young person at Covenant House Alaska. People pick an ornament, buy the item, and bring it back to the Giving Tree host. You'll bring all the gifts to us, and our volunteer team makes sure they’re ready for Christmas!

The most impactful part of the Giving Tree process is that the gifts feel personal to our youth. The fact that each young person receives something different and unique to them makes them feel special. One of our youth received a drawing kit and lit up talking about it. He showed staff all the different sketching tools included and what they are used for.

How it

Works

Host a Tree
We’ll provide the tags, each with a youth’s holiday wish. You set up the tree in a place where your community can see it.
Gifts Are Returned
Donors bring gifts back to the location of your Giving Tree. From there, we’ll coordinate with you to make sure they’re delivered to the youth Christmas morning.
People Choose Tags
Guests or customers take a tag and shop for the listed gift.
Important
We ask when you select the total value of your Giving Tree, you select any amount your business or group is willing to support, regardless of how many of your employees or members participate. Your group will be responsible for fulfilling all the items listed on the ornaments you receive.

FAQ

Yes. When you choose the total value for your Giving Tree, please select an amount your business or group is willing to cover,  no matter how many employees or members participate. This helps us ensure every youth receives something special for the holidays.
