MACK House

MACK House (Minors Accessing Care & Kindness), is a specialized housing facility designed as a home-like environment to meet the unique needs of minors (13 to 17) experiencing homelessness or trafficking.
  • Three meals a day, snacks, and educational support
  • Access to healthcare services and community partner programs
  • 24-hour staffing by compassionate individuals dedicated to supporting youth

The “MACK House” name honors Mildred and Carlette Mack, two incredible advocates who dedicated their lives to Covenant House Alaska. Their legacy of care and kindness is reflected in the values that guide MACK House today.

Physical and mental health are crucial to achieving stability. Our Health Clinic offers a range of services.

Holistic Care

Our Holistic Care approach integrates support for the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of youth. In addition to basic needs, we focus on:
  • Mentoring programs to build positive relationships and role models
  • Connection with faith communities of the young person’s choosing
  • Recreation & enrichment activities, such as art and music
  • Emotional self-regulation support
