SLEEP OUT IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!  Our Community Sleep Out is an opportunity for your family, friends and organizations to take part in a movement that will ensure that youth facing homelessness  in our community can access a safe place to sleep.  An increasing number of young people face homelessness each year in Anchorage. You can help by joining Covenant House Alaska’s Sleep Out fundraiser on April 19th in Kincaid Park. Give up your bed for one night and sleep at the Covenant House campus to raise awareness and funds to end youth homelessness.

Sleep Out is more than just a night without a bed - it's a chance to uplift vulnerable youth in our community. Throughout the evening you'll hear inspiring stories from those with lived experience, learn from experts about advocacy efforts, and connect with other community members working to create change. The family-friendly event starts Friday at 6PM It concludes Saturday morning at 8AM after a night sleeping outdoors.

Prior to the event, you'll receive details on what to bring and where to meet from your event coordinator.  By sacrificing comfort for a night, you can help ensure homeless youth have a place to turn year-round. Join the movement to end youth homelessness at this year's Sleep Out!

Sleep Out: Corporate Edition Thurs. Nov 16, 2023

Thank you to all who contributed to a successful event!  We raised over $325,000 to help youth in our community!

The Corporate Sleep Out is our most powerful and eye-opening event of the year. Up to 50 Alaska leaders and business executives sleep outside in the freezing snow or sleet on the ice-cold ground in November to raise funds and awareness for at-risk youth experiencing homelessness or trafficking. It is also an opportunity to hear directly from CHA youth about the circumstances that brought them to Covenant House Alaska in the first place, as well as the life-changing impact it has had in their lives.

Funds raised from the Sleep Out go directly to keeping CHA’s doors open 24/7, 365 days a year for its five programs that offer a myriad of services. Supporting our Sleep Out can literally save a life.
