Adopt-A-Day

Adopt-A-Day is a great way for individuals or organizations to connect with our mission by spending a part of the day at Covenant House Alaska! When you Adopt-A-Day, you gain the opportunity to interact and learn more about the youth we serve through a meal and engaging activity. When you Adopt-A-Day, you simultaneously provide the funding for a day of CHA's daily operations, while experiencing your impact by getting to know our young people. 

How it works:
  • Coordinate a date with us - maybe you are celebrating a special day like a birthday, a holiday, or coordinating a team-building day
  • Prepare (or provide), serve, and share a meal with our young people.
  • Plan an activity that is fun and engaging for both our youth and your team.
The staff at CHA are available to support with ideas and planning every step of the way! 
 
Multiple dates throughout the year are available, but if you need some inspiration, consider celebrating some fun holidays or events with our young people: 
  • New Years 
  • Iditarod
  • St. Patrick's Day
  • Covey Prom
  • Summer Solstice
  • Halloween
  • Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa
