Fill Our Cache

Frozen Salmon

Fill Our Cache is a fish and berry donation drive that benefits the youth at Covenant House Alaska. Donations will be used in a fish dinner to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day.

What you need to know

On August 10-11, 2021 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Covenant House Alaska will be collecting frozen salmon filets, smoked salmon, or berries to use for a fish dinner for the youth in our programs on Indigenous Peoples' Day in October. At any given time, 47% to 53% of our youth are Alaska Native; this is a great opportunity to honor the cultures and traditions as part of a larger day of cultural learning!

The drive will be located at the Covenant House Alaska Youth Engagement Center at 755 A St. Please enter from A St and exit on Barrow St.

When: Tuesday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 11, 2021 | 7am – 7pm

Where: the alley of the Youth Engagement Center at 755 A St (enter from A St)

How: Simply drive up and drop your vacuum sealed and frozen donations at the designated area. Donation receipts available!

Contactless event!

In a continued effort to keep our community and staff safe, this event will be drive-thru only.  You will simply pull up to the donation drop-off with your fish or berries and place your generous donations in the designated area. Quick and easy!  Hand sanitizer will be available.
