Sleep Out
Sleep Out: Corporate Edition Thurs. Nov 16, 2023
The Corporate Sleep Out is our most powerful and eye-opening event of the year. Up to 50 Alaska leaders and business executives sleep outside in the freezing snow or sleet on the ice-cold ground in November to raise funds and awareness for at-risk youth experiencing homelessness or trafficking. It is also an opportunity to hear directly from CHA youth about the circumstances that brought them to Covenant House Alaska in the first place, as well as the life-changing impact it has had in their lives.
Funds raised from the Sleep Out go directly to keeping CHA’s doors open 24/7, 365 days a year for its five programs that offer a myriad of services. Supporting our Sleep Out can literally save a life.

Sleep Out: Home Edition
Join our Sleep Out America: Alaska Home Edition and host your own Sleep Out in support of Covenant House Alaska youth. We hope you'll take one of those nights to show solidarity to youth in Alaska experiencing homelessness. Host your Sleep Out on any night you choose at any time in the year. Here's how to do it:
Step One: Register as an individual or as a team (with your family or a group of friends) and dedicate a night of sleeping. Go to www.sleepoutamerica.org to register.
Step Two: Get started with the required $25 self-donation. You can raise funds beyond $25 using your Sleep Out page, which is a secure platform to receive credit card donations that go straight to Covenant House. Share your event with friends and family!
Step Three: Find a safe and legal place where you can Sleep Out on a night you choose. It can be your backyard, a campsite, your living room, etc.
Funds raised by Alaskans will stay in Alaska and support youth who need it. For more information, contact development@covenanthouseak.org
